Description
This specialized mini marker has been engineered to assist you in estimating your distance to the basket while putting. It’s simple to use and can be used with any basket on any course. Now you will know your distance without having to walk it off or just taking a guess. Are you outside Circle 1 or do you have to maintain your balance behind your marker? Should you jump putt? Putt with confidence and Make a Run!
To use: Position the Run Maker with your arm extended towards the basket. Align the bottom indicator, label “B” with the top of the basket. Use the top of the chains to identify your distance. If the top of the chains line up with 20 indicator, you are 20 feet away. If they line up with C1, you are about 33feet (10 meters) away. C2, 66 feet (20 meters).
By design, when throwing from a lower elevation, the Run Maker will indicate a longer distance. Since you are throwing up hill, you will need to throw as if it was a longer putt. From a higher elevation, the Run Maker will also show a longer distance. Knowing this will help you estimate how light you should throw. The Run Maker is a distance estimation tool to give you confidence when putting.
